In the Accounting Department of our Glendale Corporate headquarters, you'll report to our Controller and manage the Accounts Payable function for the company, which includes two major business units, locations and/or segments, totaling approximately 1,900 employees. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Keys to Success
You'll find solid operations in place; however, if you are the right person for this role, you share in our belief that there is always room for improvement!
Constantly on the lookout for process optimization opportunities, you will need to be a strong, dependable, hands-on leader, willing to "roll up your sleeves" and work alongside the team. You'll also need to be assertive and resilient individual, able to "stand up to" internal and external stakeholders, and work with project managers and department heads with different personalities and management styles.
Of course, communication will also be key, and we'll expect you to dedicate quality time to your employees as you gather their input and help them understand the "in's and out's" of their initiatives.
